Our Pre-Scaler programme in partnership with Scottish EDGE supports potential high growth businesses headquartered in Scotland to scale.
The Pre-Scaler programme will see entrepreneurs go through a combination of online and in-person development events aimed at accelerating their growth and ability to then move to scale. This complements our Scale up Scotland core and 2.0 programmes and aims to provide a pipeline of scaling businesses.
The programme is comprised of five one day development events over a 5 month period, focusing on fundraising, people planning, leadership, sales and marketing and effective communication all delivered by our established Scale up programme partners including David Sole’s School for CEO’s.
Pre-Scaler is open to any entrepreneur running a business that has real ambition and drive to go to scale. The programme would normally be hosted at The Hunter Foundation’s Ayrshire headquarters at Blair Estate. Applicants should have achieved some customer traction (typically £100k + in annual revenues).
The programme is fully underwritten by The Hunter Foundation and there is no charge to participating companies.

- A limited company headquartered in Scotland
- Proven product / market fit
- Current revenues of £100k or more
- Potential and matching ambition to reach £1m + revenues in the next 3 years
- Growth mindset
